The FCR is a carb built to be fast and reliable, for all kinds of bike, but you have to re-jet. This has been made fairly easy on the FCR, so with some practice it should be an easy job. The DRZ E came with this carb, so the engine does well with it. And as said above, the knowledge on the FCR on this forum is immense.

Other things that you should know: - Basically the DRZ400E in Australia and New Zealand is king of the DRZ's. It comes as standard with higher performance camshafts, higher compression and a good FCR39 pumper carb. The Header pipe is larger as standard that either the s or the SM as well.
